About Big Sister
Big Sister started with a simple observation: modern life is just too much to carry.
Small business owners, parents, adults caring for their aging parents — especially the ones doing it alongside everything else in their lives — don't need another app. They have apps. Tons of them, each holding one sliver of the load, each demanding to be checked, learned, updated, maintained. The apps became more work, sometimes very frustrating work.
Big Sister is a different bet: a conversation with someone capable who actually does the work. She doesn't hand you a checklist — she drafts the thing, plans the thing, remembers the thing, and brings it back to you finished, waiting for your yes. You stay the decision-maker. She's the doer.
The name is the whole design brief. A big sister is warm but honest with you. She's on your side without needing to be managed. She helps because she wants your life to be better, not because she wants something from you. Every feature gets measured against that — does it reduce what you're carrying, or add to it?
Big Sister OS is built by Aloyse Design LLC, founded by Aloyse Brown — a founder who believes the point of this much technology should be that people get to carry less, not get stuck managing more.

From Aloyse
And the name is autobiographical. I'm the oldest of four — being the big sister was my first job: the one who keeps track, smooths the road, does the thing before anyone has to ask. I've been rehearsing her my whole life.
Professionally, I come from systems and tools — plan management and the unglamorous work of getting teams and whole companies to actually adopt the software that's supposed to help them. I've watched what happens when tools demand more than they give. Big Sister is what I kept wishing those tools would be: one capable presence that adapts to you, instead of a ton of apps you have to adapt to.
